BUSY...

Wow, after being sick for 6 days, life sure piles up. We have been so busy this week. Monday night the Lindhouts took us out for dinner for my birthday. It was so much fun. We enjoyed hanging out with them for the night at had a wonderful Carrabas dinner... my favorite :) I miss them so much. I do have to say though, only seeing them once about every other week makes the boys really excited to see me. It's kinda nice to have them run up and give me a giant hug every time rather than just "hey"...or nothing at all :) Tuesday..hmmm, what did we do? oops, dont even remember. Yesterday I babysat Jessi, Gracie and Grant. Now it is today, and what do Thursday bring?? HOCKEY...good ole hockey ;) Jon has a game tonight so well see if I can get anything done before that. I have been trying to vacuum since Sunday when the dog left and still havent done it. Now I may as well wait til this sunday right? He will be back tomorrow. HOKEY PETES!! I just re-read this post, what a bunch of rambling. Sorry people...I am done for now. Hopefully the next post will be more interesting. THEN...GULF SHORES...ONLY 6 more days!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Seven Random Facts

Well, since I really don't have anything exciting to blog about, and since I have been sitting in front of this computer for hours with nothing to do, I figured it would be a good time for another post of randomness. So here ya have it... Seven RANDOM facts about myself. (I could have done about 20, but 7...wait 8...is good enough :))

1. I am completely obsessed with checking my three, wait, now four emails, facebook, and other peoples blogs. I'm talking at least 20 times a day. (Not exaggerating!)

2. I am addicted to Jon and Kate Plus Eight. My dream is to meet them someday. There are time I think I even want a family that large...then I think even harder and realize I'm crazy!!

3. I LOVE candy...it's pretty much my favorite food :) I'm starting to think I should open my own store. It may save me a lot of money.

4. I get bored easily and have to constantly be on the go. I even enjoy running errands for other people because it keeps me busy (like I don't have enough to do) and I get to spend their money instead of mine :)

5. I love the wii. Especially now that I have the wii fit. I never get bored playing it. I still wish everyday that my husband would enjoy it as much as I do. It gets a little lonely playing it by yourself.

6. I can't explain the amount of love I have for children. I can't wait to have my own kids so I can spend every moment with them. I calmly anticipate that day. (Although this blogging thing will take over even more of my life...there's so much more to blog when you have kids.)

7. One goal in my life is to become completely and utterly organized. This may take awhile but I will be extremely happy when I accomplish this. I admire anyone who already is. I am going to become a label freak.

8. Let's make it eight...I love shopping, but which girl doesn't? I just wish I has a little more money to do so.

I don't even know what to title it...

Well, I hate to say it but my last post went down the drain real quick. Most of you know that I have not felt the best the last four days. Last weekend I was feeling so proud of myself. I was working out, eating healthy, doing everything I should be doing...and...look what happened, I got SICK!!! Unfortunately I have not worked out since last Tuesday, I haven't ate healthy because I really haven't ate at all, and now it is 8:30 at night on Saturday and I am wondering if I am ever going to go to bed tonight because all I have done ALL day is sleep. And for those of you who know me well, know that I have to be on the go 24/7. This sleeping all day thing does nothing but depress me. I know, I'm not normal but I love to be out and about. I did venture out to the grocery store today...just to buy more meds. Anyways, I feel like I could ramble forever about a simple sickness so I will say sianara for tonight... Time to disinfect the keyboard :)

Time To Tone The Tummy!!!

Ok, with spring break just 16 days around the corner, it is time to get my tummy toned up. Jon and I have become work-out freaks. (Jon more than me) He is actually doing 8 minute abs while I sit here on my lazy butt and tell ya'll that WE are working out :) Hmmmm something is not right. Anyways, the wii fit has come in very handy lately. I have moved away from the fun balance activities and have moved on to the strength and yoga. Oh man, after 1/2 hour I am about ready to pass out. YIKES, you can tell I haven't worked out since...EVER!!! I even bought a new bathing suit to wave in front of my face to try to keep me motivated :) We'll see how long this lasts. Oh, and we also gave up pop and sweets until then as well. AND for lent we gave up fast food so hopefully with all of this combined we will both loose a little weight and have 6 packs by April 2. (I might be dreaming a little, I can't picture myself with a 6 pack)

Something NEW

I posted not too long ago about how boring these backgrounds were getting. They were running out of cute stuff. My friend Kari came across a new layout website. The website is http://alliebrownslayouts.blogspot.com/ Now... I have to tell you before you get started that this is a little tougher than the other website...It took me a long time and a couple phone calls to figure out how to make a background appear. Well, here you have it...a new layout. P.S. many of these layouts are quite busy. I am pretty sure this is the forth one I have had up in 10 minutes. I didn't want people to have to strain they're eyes :)

Oh Yeah...and check out the new picture.................thanks Kari :)

SO random...

Ok, before I had blogs of people I know to read, I would read a bunch of randoms...well, I am over that now. However, while reading those, I got some cute ideas of things to blog about. I was bored one night and decided to answer the questions to the one below. I also have a couple other posts that I will save for a later day. Anyone who reads this should do it to. It is interesting to read about other people...even when you dont know them :) Enjoy...

I sing: really loud when I am in my car alone.
I cry: easily
I fight: (argue) with my sister sometimes

I win: when I play the wii against Jon :)
I lose: my train of thought easily.
I never: eat veggies, I know, not very healthy.
I confuse: myself at times
I listen: to music as often as I can.
I can usually be found: on the computer, checking emails, facebook and blogs :) I’m addicted, what can you say?

Weekend in Cherry City USA

This weekend I took a trip north to Traverse City to visit Kari. While apparently it was warm and sunny down here, I braved the cold and snow up there. We spent our entire weekend scrapbooking. I finished Jon's entire Africa trip...I was so excited. We also went out for Moomers ice cream, winter coats and all :) On the way home we almost it a truck full of poop. It was the funniest and scariest thing ever...we can laugh about it now...and I still am :) We are also not what I would call "good" influences on each other. Kari bought guitar hero while I was up there, and you all know I love guitar hero...then she talked me into getting an extra guitar. This was an early b-day present from Jon :) He was so excited.......not really ;) However, I have to let you know...I got a really good deal :) Here are a few pics....
This thing is the best invention EVER....the cricut....every scarpbooker needs one. Jon is not too fond of the idea of getting me one for my birthday (a little too pricey) so...guess what will be the first thing on my Christmas list????

Scrapbookin'

Eating our Moomers...Its a good thing I dont live up here because my bank account would go empty...this is the best ice cream ever.

"Rockin Out" as our cashier said :)

Gulf Shores...Here we come!!!

It's official...and there's no turning back now! We are ACTUALLY going away for spring break...I think I am still picking my jaw up off the floor that my hubby even said YES...without hesitation!!! We were at the guys hockey game on Thursday night (we, being myself, Kelly, and Lori). Kelly mentioned that her and Josh rented a condo in Gulf Shores during the week of our spring break. Out of the blue she asks Lori and I if we wanted to rent one together and come down with them...or course we say YES but have to ask our men... So...on the way home from hockey I asked Jon the big question, apparently using the right words, because he said YES!!! To make a long story short...after a very long night of convincing Matt we book a condo ourselves. I AM SO STINKIN EXCITED!!! We are Leaving on April 2 and come back April 11. P.S. We are totally doing this road trip style...Yes, I am a little nervous...I have never done this before...Should be good times :)
