Saturday we celebrated Danielle's big day! She became Mrs. Bouwhuis. It was a gorgeous wedding and the reception was an absolute blast. I will tell the stories through the MANY pictures we took that night :) Warning: there is a lot! :)
Us girlies before the ceremony...
The start of the boys "bro-mance" :)
Danielle and her dad walking down the aisle...
The church was gorgeous...
In between the ceremony and reception we came back to my house for snacks and games...
Thought this was a cute party favor. Inside they even had a penny to scratch it :)
Waiting on Dee...
Kari started double fistin' :)
This centerpiece came in handy at the end of the night... stay tuned....
Dustin and Kari...
Our holder-outer was a little too close...
Not much better...
This is cute...
Dee made it, we were so glad to see her...
SO glad to have the 5 of us together. It's been 3 years...
Me with the BEAUTIFUL bride...
Hubby and I...
LOVE how hard she is laughing...
So glad Grand Valley brought us together...
I spilled a glass of wine down my dress as I was trying to take a drink, so they made me drink the next one through a straw...
Jonny, Me, Dustin and Kari...
Kari was not a fan of the "birds" in Dee's hair. I LOVE them and plan on getting some "birds" myself :)
We danced... YES, even I danced :)
Enjoy the next few pics of our drinking competition :) Notice who won ;)
Our new BFF :) Danielle's sister Nicole...
Dee was really enjoying the mouthwash in the bathroom, gotta have fresh breath :)
Then we had to take a bathroom pic... Oh man, what a night...
She comes with a story ;) Long one short... She is friends with my sister-in-law. Somehow we figured that out and she thought that was so cool. Love her...
With Dee...
Remember when I told you the centerpieces came in handy... yup that's right we played "pennies." We did not have quarters so we used the pennies that came with the lottery tickets. Cheap fun!
This was obviously late into the evening...
Dee, Melissa and Me :)
Oh stars, even later into the evening... Can you tell we has a BLAST!
Best. Night. Ever. I am so happy for Danielle and Ryan. Their wedding day was perfect and I feel so honored to have been a part of their special day. Girls, we CANNOT wait 3 more years again before all 5 of us are together. Love you ladies...

Decorating Easter Eggs
Last night I hung out with my little loves! I feel like I have not seen them in so long! It was such a fun night. We headed over to my moms to decorate Easter eggs. The boys had a blast!
Noah grading my spelling tests! He thought he was pretty cool ;)
Lukas was accident prone tonight. He kept dropping eggs left and right. It was actually pretty comical. Here it had just slipped out of his dipper thing and he caught it in mid air.
Grandma came over and joined our fun. She thought she was SO funny and wrote the word "help" on her egg because we were being loud and crazy. :)
We ended up with 4 dozen decorated eggs. (minus the ones Lukas dropped and ate) :)
And the the wrestling begins... boys will be boys.
LOVE these little guys! (Well... not so little anymore) :( Hard to believe that this summer I have been watching them for 8 YEARS! Wow!!!

Read N Feed
Today was a very fun day at school! Exhausting... but fun! It was the annual "read n feed." Students were allowed to bring sleeping bags, pillows, blankets, stuffed animals, 3 favorite books from home and of course... wear their pj's! 2nd grade spent the entire day reading! I decided to be "Nice Mrs. Scholma" today ;) and let them move the desks to the sides and spread out all over the room, WHEREVER THEY WANTED! A little stressful, but so worth it! The kids had a blast! We also made a special trail mix together and enjoyed our snack while we were reading! I love creating these kind of memories for my students, because these are the things that I remember from when I was in school! I wish I could show you the adorable pictures from today, but I probably shouldn't post pics of my kiddos on here. So instead, I'll show you what the room looked like while they were at lunch. I can also show you our yummy trail mix.
Notice I topped them with my very favorite sour gummy worms. (These were not on the list of things they could bring, so did they ever cheer loud when I showed them what I brought for the mix) :)
